This German Gown is circa 1525 and made of two pieces: The outer gown is cotton velveteen and fully-lined in satin. The inset is cotton velveteen and worn over a Chemise. The inset is reversible to black and provides a lift for your bosom and holds in your tummy. In medieval times, the inset might have been a complete dress extending to the floor. We chose to create this abbreviated design which just may have been the choice of our medieval ancestors.
