Throwing Axe
Throwing axes were most commonly used between the 5th and 8th centuries. Troops could throw the axe from a distance of approximately ten to twelve metres. Although it required great skill and accuracy, the heavy axe heads deliver unbelievable destruction to its target. Our Throwing Axe features an iron head and hardwood handle.
