Anglo-Saxon Helm
This historical Anglo-Saxon helmet dates back to the 6th Century. Only four examples of this extraordinary helm style exist today in museum collections. Each of the originals have been reconstructed and restored from the fragments found at regional sites at York, Benty Grange, Wollaston and perhaps the most famous, the burial ship site at Sutton Hoo. Our Anglo-Saxon helm dates to the late 6th century and is handcrafted by our skilled armorers from 18 gage steel and accented with brass to emulate the golden highlights of the originals. |
