Civil War Confederate Revolver
This non-firing replica is based after an 1860 cap-lock revolver. Featuring a hardwood handle and metal barrel, this weapons construction was similar to an 1860 .36 Navy model. The main difference being its longer, 8 inch barrel. This longer barrel helped improve the weapons range and accuracy. This firearm was considered to be, "the most superior Cavalry arm" (Quoted by Inspector-General Joseph Johnson in 1860). |
