Bow and Arrows
It is believed that the first bow was used over 50,000 years ago. Records show that as far back as 5,000 B.C. Native American Indians used bows and arrows to hunt and defend their tribe. This replica is hand crafted by Navajo artisans. It is decorated with leather, beadwork, bone fragments and feathers. The crossed arrows are a traditional symbol of friendship and peace. Because each of these bows are hand-fashioned, there are variations in material, coloring and decoration making each a unique piece. |
